Obituary for Jere S. Bellard

February 12, 1940-December 22, 2017
Jere S. Bellard age 77, residing in Norwalk, Ohio passed away Friday afternoon at the Stein Hospice Care Center following a brief illness.
Jere was born on February 12, 1940 in Bellevue, Ohio to the late Warren S. and Catherine M. Jordan.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1959 to 1962. He retired from the Meijer Store in Sandusky in 2005 working in the produce department and had previously worked at the Pioneer Balloon Company in Willard for 14 years.
Jere enjoyed golfing, bowling, exercising, photography, music, crossword puzzles, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
Jere is survived by his wife Joann (DeMuth) whom he married on July 23, 1984, four sons; Joseph S. Bellard; Gary J. (Rebecca) Bellard; Joseph M. Dolbee and Matthew S. Bellard; four grandchildren Katie; Abigail; Melinda and Broc, two great-grandchildren Parker and Easton, one sister Jeanne Williams, one brother Larry Bellard and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11 AM until time of Funeral services at 12 PM in the Groff Funeral Home and Crematory Huron Chapel 2602 Bogart Rd. Huron, Ohio. The Pastor Mel Slayer will officiate. Entombment will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
