March 16, 1947 - December 4, 2017

Daniel C. Woell, 70, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday morning, December 4, 2017 at Stein Hospice Care Center.

Daniel was born on March 16, 1947 in Sandusky, OH to the late Rollan and Marjorie (Bahnsen) Woell.

Dan graduated from Perkins High School in 1965 and was the executive director of Partners in Community for 24 years. Dan was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 32 years. He was an avid Green Bay Packers, Ohio State Buckeyes and Perkins Pirates fan. In his spare time, he enjoyed kayaking and spending time with his family.

Dan is survived by sister, Lori (Robert) Pilus of Clyde; brother-in-law, Daniel Murphy; niece, Robin Pilus; nephews, Mike and Adam Murphy; great-nephews, Charlie and Dominic Body and Taran Murphy and several other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Daniel is preceded in death by sisters, Margie Woell and Kathleen Murphy, and brother, Michael Woell.

Friends may call on Saturday, December 9 at 1:00pm until the Celebration of Life at 2:00pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Chaplain Mel Sayler will officiate.

Dan's family requests in tribute to him and his love for sports, everyone wear something Packers, Buckeyes or Pirates.
