Jane A. Kilianek, 86, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, November 14, 2013 at the Lutheran Memorial Home. She was born on October 2, 1927 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Alphonse and Olive (Schlett) Riedy. Jane was a devoted mother, and a hard worker. She was employed at Apex, F.W.Woolworths, the Donut House, Dicks Drive Thru, Markley's, and she operated Jane's Restaurant. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, and the lottery. She loved spending time with her family.She is survived by her two daughters, Anita (Eddie) Brewer and Candy Ehlers; three grandchildren, Jessica (Jesse) Click, Brandon (Mandy) Ehlers and Jared "J.R." (Cindy) Brewer; seven great-grandchildren, Amanda and Brittany Ballard, James Click, and Brandon "B.J.", Annalyse, Luke and Christian Ehlers; brother, Larry (Cherie) Riedy; sisters-in-laws, Mary Jane and Sandra Riedy; and nieces, nephews, and other family members.In addition to her parents, Jane is preceded in death by her grandson, Jeremy "Bo" Brewer and her brothers, Alphonse "Mick", Eugene "Skip", and Dale Riedy. Friends may call on Monday, November 18, 2013 from 5:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky with Father Michael Roemmele officiating.
